Dino is the owner and operator of John’s Neon Signs, a family owned business since 1956. Dino has been fabricating signage his entire life, and specializes in building complex custom signage for his clients. Dino is also a sign innovator, having developed and patented multiple tools to make sign building and installation more efficient. Dino also owns EDM Digital, and Curbside Signs. In his spare time, Dino enjoys skydiving and cooking classes, though not at the same time.
Tricia is the manager of John’s Neon Signs, and one of the designers in our graphics department. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts (Studio Specialization) from the University of Waterloo. Tricia worked for five years as a Graphic Designer and Photography Assistant with small family business in Kirkland Lake until she relocated with her family to Timmins. In 2010, Tricia opened her own home based business, Pencil and Mouse Design Restoration and Artwork. Tricia specializes in custom portrait work, fine art painting and graphic design. Tricia joined our team in 2012 and continues to share her eclectic talents with John’s Neon Signs. When Tricia has spare time, she enjoys Netflix.
Shawn is one of the designers in our graphics department, our lead installer for all vinyl applications, and a 3M trained window film installer. He attended Durham College in the Digital Animation Department but decided to pursue a career in graphic design instead. Shawn worked at Computerized Lettering & Signs for five years, starting off as an installer and becoming Lead Graphic Designer before he joined our team. Shawn is 3M Certified Graphics Installer, and specializes in unique vehicle wraps.
Lauren is one of the designers in our graphics department, one of our vinyl installers, and a 3M trained window film installer. She has a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from Carleton University. Lauren has worked as an architectural designer, as well as a graphic designer. Her experience gives her a unique perspective when working with architectural designers on signage projects. Lauren’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, and cruising Pinterest for new project ideas.
Chantal is a graphic designer who joined the JNS team in 2017. She has diplomas in Graphic Design & Advertising from Georgian College in Barrie. While originally not from Timmins, Chantal made the North her home several years ago. In her spare time, Chantal enjoys pursuing her passion for photography and creating abstract art.
Ron works as a signage installer, and assists with welding and fabrication in the JNS signage department. Ron is a welder by trade, but has worked in so many industries that he has experience in just about everything.
